This October cohort is timed deliberately. We begin just before the new moon, the perfect energetic moment for new beginnings and we open with Earth element, the element of early autumn itself: harvest, nourishment, gathering in before the darker months.

The Five Element Self-Care Programme is a 6-week live online journey through one of the most sophisticated systems ever developed for understanding human health — Chinese Medicine's Five Elements.

Each week we explore one element and what it means for your physical health, your emotional patterns and your energy through the seasons of life. This is not theory — every session is practical and embodied. You'll leave with tools you can use that same day. By the end of six weeks you'll understand your own body in a way most people never do, and you'll have a personal toolkit to support yourself for life.

What we'll explore together

WEEK 1 — 8 October

🌾 Introduction to Chinese Medicine & Earth Element — Qi, Yin/Yang and the Five Element system explained, then into Earth element: nourishment & digestion, stomach & spleen meridians, how you receive care, food and support.

WEEK 2 — 15 October

🤍 Metal — Breath, grief & immunity. Lung and large intestine meridians — letting go and creating space for what matters.

WEEK 3 — 22 October

💧 Water — Resilience & deep restoration. Kidney and bladder meridians — accessing your deepest reserves and finding stillness.

WEEK 4 — 29 October

🌿 Wood — Flexibility, frustration & liver/gallbladder energy — how to move with life rather than against it.

WEEK 5 — 12 November

🔥 Fire — Joy, burnout & heart regulation. Heart, Small intestine, Heart Protector and Triple Heater meridians — reconnecting with warmth and authentic expression.

WEEK 6 — 19 November

✨ Integration — Bringing all five elements together into your own personal map for life.

By the end of the programme you'll be able to identify which element is your primary area of imbalance — and know exactly what to do to support your health and mental wellbeing through it.

About Fiona

I've been practising holistic bodywork and energy medicine for over 26 years — in private practice and within the NHS at the Royal Berkshire Hospital's Oasis Staff Wellbeing Centre. I'm a registered Shiatsu practitioner and Systematic Kinesiologist with additional training in Vibrational Sound Healing and Energy Medicine.

I created this programme because I've seen how transformative it is when people understand the language their body is speaking. The Five Elements are not abstract theory. They are a map of human experience that I use every single day in my clinic.

This is grassroots healing at its truest — accessible, embodied and guided by the belief that real wellbeing doesn't begin in a clinic or a bottle. It begins with you.

Questions & Answers

Do I need any previous experience?

None at all. Just curiosity and a willingness to engage with your own body.

Why does the programme start with Earth instead of Wood?

This cohort runs through autumn, so we follow the natural seasonal cycle — Earth into Metal into Water into Wood and Fire. The elements taught in relationship with the actual living seasons.

When do the live sessions take place?

Thursday evenings 7pm-8.30/9pm, starting 8 October 2026. Sessions are recorded so you won't miss out if something comes up.

Is there a break during the programme?

Yes — we pause on 5 November (Bonfire Night), resuming 12 November. A natural one-week pause before we move into Fire and bring it all together.

What do I need to participate?

A device with internet access, a comfortable space to move gently, and your workbook materials sent ahead of each session. A 5-minute pre-course tech check is offered to make sure you're all set for Thursday evenings.

Will this programme run again?

Yes, but pricing increases with each cohort as the programme develops. This is one of the best times to join.
